Mixing
Unit
The mixing unit was added through PA Resins’ acquisition of Polyclad Europe AB in 2007. The construction of the mixing unit was completed and production start-up was in 2007, just after the acquisition.
This business area produces catalysts and plasticisers for resin customers.
PU rigid foam resin production started in 2010 with the acquisition of Minova CarboTech's PU business.

- Three automated mixers with a capacity of 2, 3 and 4 m3
- Mixers equipped with heating and cooling capabilities
- Several fixed storage tanks of various sizes for raw materials and finished products offer good production flexibility
- Two Powder handling units for raw materials
- Five mobile (by fork lift) mixers for pre- or post mixing.
- Control room with computerised control of all reactors
- Siemens process control system
- All equipment is ATEX classified
- Double safety systems when using solvents such as acetone
