About PA Resins
PA Resins is a company active in the composite, prepreg and phenolic resins business, but is also a producer of amino and polyurethane resins and other mixed products.
Development projects run in close co-operation with our customers have given us in-depth knowledge and understanding of the applications, processes and environments where our products are used.
Typical applications include:
Composites, prepreg, abrasives, refractories, floral foam, insulation foam, mining foam, coatings, technical and flooring laminates, impregnation, foundry binders, insulation wool and formaldehyde solutions. We also supply catalysts and plasticisers.
PA Resins AB was created by a merger of the former Perstorp Chemitec Resins AB, a well known long-term player in the resin markets, and Polyclad Europe AB, also a well known long-term player in the composites and prepreg markets.
Perstorp Chemitec Resins AB was acquired by Seven Summits Capital SA on January 1, 2002. The European Commision had required the spin-off of Perstorp Chemitec Resins as a condition for its approval of the Swedish Buy-Out fund Industrikapital taking the Perstorp Group private. Polyclad Europe AB was acquired in 2007 from Isola GmbH following a restructuring of its printed circuit board operations.
PA Resins AB focuses its business on providing its customers with tailor-made products, strong application know-how and servicing its customers to the highest standards as a small, flexible and long-term supplier to the global market for composites, prepreg and resins.
